 Improvement Plan: Analyzing Common Themes

Reviewing common themes in technology development and how this influences the skills needed today as well as the expectations that form, clearly points to an audience-driven approach to navigating challenges that may arise. When people are factored into the process, this human-centered approach will enhance the experiences and opportunities that technology provides. Strategies to address limitations always include solutions that help reach the audience, whether this be through providing the proper tools for employees to build connections or utilizing data to better understand what the audience values; people are the root of technology. 

There are many areas to consider when analyzing the advancements in technology, but one component is repetitive in addressing concerns, and that is utilizing technology to enhance our lives, not fighting to keep up with it. I reviewed leadership roles and the importance of creating positive environments. With this, understanding which technology is beneficial to promote learning and which is a distraction, is helpful in determining what tools will maximize creativity and efficiency. Allowing feedback from employees and shaping tools to fit the needs of the organization will support a healthy workplace culture. By valuing internal and external feedback to improve processes and messaging will be beneficial in navigating the options available. 

I have also addressed the need for personalization, and this factors in preferences from the audience, allowing certain options to be available. This keeps the audience at the forefront and helps organizations to continually deliver. Data helps this process specifically meet the needs of the audience. However, understanding the concerns with privacy, how certain information is used, and who has access to it is crucial to ensuring a safe space for audiences. Being transparent is helpful in allowing the audience to determine if they want to use certain platforms and which information they will share. 

Regardless of the area within technology development, the limitations that presented itself continually demonstrated that people needed to be factored into the processes more. According to Ashvin Chhabra, President and CIO of Euclidean Capital, states, "it's human beings that solve problems, not technology" (Forbes, 2023). It's important to remember that people are behind technology and the limitations that are present need human-centered solutions.
